Transfer design

The event is 10% of the work

Use when

Any program where behaviour must survive contact with the job

Transfer design, shown as a sequence of 5 parts: Before, During, 48 hours, 30 days, 90 days.
  1. 1

    Before

Manager sets expectation; learner brings a real case

  2. 2

    During

Practice on the real case, not toy examples

  3. 3

    48 hours

First application attempt while memory is fresh

  4. 4

    30 days

Spaced nudges, peer trio check-in, manager reinforces

  5. 5

    90 days

Observed behaviour check; success stories published

How to use it

Learning decays on the Ebbinghaus curve unless interrupted by retrieval and use; the design answer is spacing, real-work application, and the manager's expectation, which is the single strongest transfer lever in the research. If the manager layer is not enabled, skip the program; it will not transfer.
